Passenger Review
The Ariel Atom is the world’s first exoskeletal car, meaning it has very little body work and no roof. It’s an extremely scary car. Doing 120mph whilst knowing the only real crumple zone after a metal tube frame is your body makes it a very nerve-racking experience! The car looks awesome though with it’s F1 style looks and beautiful framework it really catches your eye as it is so radically different to any other car. The interior is nice but the seats are not very comfortable and since you’re wedged back in it most of the time it makes your back hurt a fair bit. It weighs just 456kg meaning it has nearly 1000bhp per tonne! That’s more than a Buggati Veyron! This car accelerates amazingly fast also and will reach 140mph. The car has the engine from a Honda Civic Type R and the noise sounds like a robotic squeal. The Atom is up there with my favourite cars but it is very scary!
